Vicki Beyer
Vicki Beyer is excited about life! Having always wanted to capture the essence of what she sees both externally and internally. Using multiple painting media, she captures the beauty and color that surrounds her in western Michigan.
"Art has always been an ongoing process in my life, that makes every new day an exciting adventure and challenge. To me, art is a passionate language that does not need to rely on words, and speaks to each of us in a different way. "
Art runs in the family, with her brother, Steve Beauchamp being a very talented wood carver who lives in Modesto, Ca. You may visit his web site and view his portfolio at: www.ftwcarvings.com.
She moved to Holland, MI in 2000, from the Kalamazoo, MI area, where she studied art at the Kalamazoo Institute of Art, Kellogg Community College and Oxbow School of Art, as well as a multitude of workshops.
Vicki has won a variety of awards in juried shows, and has works in private and corporate collections.
She's a member of Holland Friends of Art, Saugatuck/Douglas Art Club, and the HAAC. Her work is currently shown at Uptown Gallery and Crows Cottage in Holland, MI, and Saugatuck Artists Collective, in Saugatuck, MI.
